Manage all your survey alerts, collaborative @mentions, and team activity from your Notification center. It’s your hub for streamlining notifications across surveys, and you can control who gets notified and how.
You can manage your notifications and response alerts from:

| The Bell icon in the main navigation | A side panel Notification center lets you view your activity feed or select the Settings Gear to customize your global email digest preferences, mention alerts, and team collaboration updates. Anytime you have unread messages, the number next to the bell is circled red. |
| SurveyMonkey Home | Select the … menu next to the survey you want to manage notifications for. Depending on your plan, you can Manage notifications. |
| The Publish survey section | Select Manage response alerts. |
| My Account | From the Notifications tab, update your Marketing preferences and Survey Notifications. You can Unsubscribe from existing response alerts. |
| Your notification email | We hyperlink you to your notification in SurveyMonkey. |
You can set up notifications to tell you about survey responses, survey or result feedback, Team and Workgroup collaboration, or account alerts.
There are a few ways to be notified of new survey responses:
| Notification Type | Description |
| Daily summary | Get a daily email to let you know the number of responses your survey collected the day before. Available on all plans. |
| Instant notifications | Get an email notification each time a new response is submitted to your survey. Available on Enterprise. |
| Smart notifications | Get an email each time a response is submitted that matches certain conditions you customize. Available on Enterprise. |
The Notification center tracks team interactions to help keep your survey projects moving. When a teammate uses @yourname in a survey comment, you receive a notification instantly in your Activity feed.
Select the notification to go directly to the specific question or data point where the comment was.
Anytime you share notifications, we automatically grant the person View only access to that specific survey.

| Feedback | Get a notification for each new comment, reply to a comment, or a resolved comment on your survey or your shared data page. |
| Workgroups management | Get a notification each time a change is made to your workgroup. Workgroup owners are also alerted to team member requests to join. Available on Enterprise plans. |
| Team discovery | Admins get a notification when a request is made to join their team. |
If you have a SurveyMonkey account, we may send you account-related emails about billing reminders, cancellation notices, requests, or invitations to access a team, or collaboration on your surveys. These are service linked communications, which you cannot opt out of if you wish to continue using our service.
