SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey Teams are perfect for organizations where multiple people need to work on surveys. Teams offer collaboration features that make working with other people to create, send, and analyze surveys easier than ever.

Here are some important facts to know about teams:

  • A team is made up of multiple SurveyMonkey accounts.
  • Every account has its own username and password.
  • The Primary Admin creates the team, manages all the team’s accounts (which we call seats), and takes care of the billing for the entire team.
  • Can you see each other's surveys?
  • How much does it cost to add a seat?
  • Can my account belong to more than one team?

Paid Feature: Contributor seats are currently only available on some teams.

Team plans require a minimum of 3 Full Access seats. (Full Access seats were previously called Users.)

The person who creates the team is the Primary Admin. They're responsible for making payments for the team and managing seats.

To sign up for a team:

  1. Log in and go to our Plans & Pricing page.
  2. Review our team plans under the Team Plans tab and Select a plan.
  3. Enter your Billing Details and Payment Method. Or, move to the next step if you're upgrading your current subscription.
  4. Under Review Order, choose the number of Full Access and Contributor seats your team needs.
  5. Once your payment is processed, you can set up your team, invite people to join, and manage seats on your team.

What are Full Access and Contributor seats? We offer different seat types to help you customize your team to support the way you work.

If you want to join a team, you may be able to browse for teams that share your company domain or you can ask the Primary Admin to invite you. You may need to ask around at your organization who is in charge of SurveyMonkey. Learn more: Inviting and Managing Users

You'll get an email when someone invites you to join their team. Pay attention to the seat type you have.

If you’re invited to a Full Access seat, you can choose to:

  • Create a new account and start with no surveys.
  • Convert an existing SurveyMonkey account to move the surveys into the team. Learn more below.
  • Converting Your Existing Account
  • Joining a HIPAA-Enabled Team
