Logging in to Your Account

To log in to your SurveyMonkey account:

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Enter your email and click Next.
  3. Enter your password and click Log in.
  4. If you're logging in from a device or browser we don't recognize complete account verification.

Any time you log in from a new device or browser, you're required to complete account verification.

To complete account verification:

  1. After entering your email and password, click Send code.
  2. Go to your account email inbox and open the verification email with the subject, "New Login Alert," sent from SurveyMonkey.
  3. Copy and paste your Verification code in SurveyMonkey.
  4. Create a unique Device nickname to describe your device or browser.
  5. If you already have two verified devices, Remove one to continue. The removed device is automatically logged out—the next time you want to use it, you’ll need to complete account verification again.

Account verification adds an extra layer of security to your account by alerting you when a new device or browser tries to log in and access your data. Review these common questions about account verification for more info.

If your organization has SSO enabled, you can log in with SSO.

If you receive an error that your email address isn't enabled for SSO, make sure you're entering the email address you use for SSO at your organization. If you haven't yet joined your organization's team or you're still encountering log in issues, reach out to your IT department.

You can link your SurveyMonkey account to Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft, or Apple and use those credentials to log in. You'll still need to complete account verification if a new device or browser is detected.

Any changes to your email address or password need to be managed from your Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft or Apple account.

If you forget your password, you can reset it through the platform you’re using to log in. You cannot reset your password through SurveyMonkey.
