Applications gain access to tasks and become available for review depending on their progress throughout stages in your workflow. This article covers how to move applications to any stage in your workflow either manually or by using SurveyMonkey Apply automations.
Applications within the workflow may need to be moved for a variety of reasons such as to allow applicants to edit or complete tasks or to allow a reviewer to edit or complete a review. In some cases, these movements will not follow your general workflow and will require an administrator to move the application manually.
Applications can also be moved from the administrator application view.
To move an application while viewing the application:
Applicants will only have access to complete or edit tasks within the stage their application is currently placed. If applicants cannot edit their tasks, be sure to check the stage of their application and move it to the correct stage if needed.
Moving an application manually may cause automations with an activation of Application has changed Stage to fire. Check your automations before moving an application to ensure that the move will not cause unwanted automations to fire. If this is the case, the automation can be temporarily deactivated, if necessary.
Another method for moving applications is to build an automation that will move the application based on an action. An example of one of these actions could be when a task is completed, an application has been submitted, or a certain answer to a question in a review form has been provided.
