You can edit the collector options to automatically close a collector (stop collecting responses) at a certain date and time. If you have multiple collectors, you need to set a Cutoff Date and Time for each one separately.

To set a Cutoff Date and Time:

  1. Go to the Collect Responses section of your survey.
  2. Click the name of the collector and access the collector options. You may need to click Show advanced options.
  3. Turn on Cutoff Date and Time.
  4. Choose a date and time in the future.
  5. Click Edit "survey closed" message. Once the date and time has passed, anyone who tries to access the survey will see this closed message.

TIP! Collectors are ways to send your survey. Each collector type works a little differently, so they all have different sets of options to choose from when you set them up. If you don't see this particular option in the collector type you're using, review the info on this page, and be sure to check out the help article about that collector type.

If you're using both Response Limits and a Cutoff Date and Time, whichever comes first will close the collector.
