You can change the position or layout of questions on a page to make questions appear side by side or on different parts of the page.
To adjust the question layout:
|Question Placement||You can choose from the following options:
|Question Width||By default, questions take up 100% of the page width. You can adjust the percentage of the page you want the question to fill, so the width of the question adjusts dynamically, relative to the page width. Or, you can set a fixed pixel width that will remain fixed regardless of the page width.|
|Question Spacing||Add extra padding to the top, right, bottom, or left of the question. Enter the value in pixels.|
|Label Width||You can adjust the label width on any question type that has a row label to the left of the answer fields, like Multiple Textboxes. To do this, choose what percentage of the total question width you'd like the label to fill.|
|Textbox Width||You can change the textbox size on Single Textbox, Multiple Textboxes, and Comment Box questions by choosing a Character Width—how many characters could fit across the width of the textbox. This selection doesn't affect how many characters the respondent can enter in the field.|
To change the answer choice layout:
When the One Question at a Time setting is turned on you can't adjust the question layout, except on Multiple Choice and Checkbox questions.
