Multiple Choice Question
Multiple Choice is a simple, closed-ended question type that lets respondents select one or multiple answers from a defined list of choices.
If your question has a long list of answer choices, consider using the Dropdown question type instead.
Creating a Multiple Choice Question
To add this question type:
- Drag and drop Multiple Choice into your survey from the BUILDER section.
- Enter question text.
- In the Answers fields, enter each answer choice.
- Configure any additional options.
- Click Save.

Allow More Than One Answer (Use Checkboxes)
You can select Allow more than one answer (use checkboxes) to allow respondents to select more than one answer choice. With this setting selected, you can also require respondents to answer a specific range or limit of answer choices.
Score This Question (Assign Point Values)

Under the Edit, Options, and Logic tabs, you can further customize the question in the following ways:
- Add an "Other" Answer Option or Comment Field
- Require an Answer
- Change the Question Size & Layout
- Sort, Randomize, or Flip Choices
- Add Question Skip Logic

If you require respondents to answer a specific number or range of answer choices, customize the error message to reflect the requirement so respondents will know how to answer the question correctly.
