Managing Brand Assets in the Library
The library is where Full Access seat team members can find and use shared assets to create surveys. These shared assets include images, documents, templates, themes, and questions.
Primary Admins and Admins can add or manage items in the team library and set default assets to be automatically added to new surveys that teammates create.
If your Enterprise team has early access to Divisions, you can also access division libraries that have additional survey controls.

If adding an image to question text or answer choice field, you'll need the library image's source image URL. From the Library, right-click the image to open the image source URL in a new tab and copy the URL from the address bar. Add the image to your survey using the formatting toolbar. Templates
To create a new survey from a team template:
In the Design Survey section, you can make any edits or additions you'd like before sending out your survey. Any edits you make are unique to your survey and won't affect the template in the library. Similarly, if an Admin makes edits to the template in the library after you created your survey, it won't affect your existing survey. Documents
Documents can't be added to surveys, but you can download them to your computer. To download a document to your computer:
You can't preview documents within SurveyMonkey. If you need to attach a document to a survey, host it on a third-party site and add a hyperlink to your survey. Questions

Division Libraries and Survey Controls (Enterprise Only) | ||||||
How It WorksWhen your team has Divisions—sub-groups within your team that can be managed independently of one another—each division can have its own division library with its own set of assets. A division library allows each division to have unique assets that are different from the assets in the team library and other divisions. Division members can use the assets from the team library or their division library, which ensures all surveys meet either the team's or division’s unique branding needs. The assets that team members can see, manage, and use depend on their role, if they belong to a division, and whether those assets have additional default settings or restrictions. Only the Primary Admin and Admin have full access to view, add, and manage the team library and all division libraries.
Division Libraries vs. Team Library
The team library is for everyone on the team. A division library is only available to the people assigned to that division. If someone is not assigned to a division, they only have access to the team library. If an asset is Set as default for a Division, that setting overrides the team default. Setting Default Assets
From the Library page, Primary Admins and Admins can click Set team defaults to set a default logo, theme, template, or intro text for all new surveys the team creates. Primary Admins, Admins, and Division Admins can Set division defaults. On the Division Defaults page, use the dropdown to select the division they're setting defaults for. If an asset is Set as default for a Division, that setting overrides the team default. After adding a default team or division asset, Primary Admins and Admins can set further restrictions. Assets can have:
There's also a toggle to Allow Division Admins to override the asset settings for their division. If the Division Admin is given permission, they can add and manage assets for their division libraries. If they aren’t allowed, they can only view their division libraries. When division defaults differ from the Team default, Primary Admins, Admins, or Division Admins can click Reset to Team Defaults to revert the asset and its restrictions back. Creating Surveys
The assets that team members can use for creating new surveys depend on their role, if they belong to a division, and whether those assets have default settings or restrictions on them. When creating surveys, Division Admins and Users can only see the assets they have permission to view and use. Primary Admins and Admins don’t have any restrictions as they create surveys so they can add new assets to libraries as they need. If an asset is set as a default, it's automatically added when a new survey is created. Depending on the restrictions set, the team member may or may not have the ability to remove or update the asset. |
