If you're having trouble authenticating your account on your Android device, you may need to change your default browser to Chrome for the authentication process to complete.
Check your phone manufacturer’s website for more info on how to change your default browser.
You can upgrade to a Standard monthly or Standard annual plan within the SurveyMonkey app. If you are interested in upgrading to an Advantage, Premier, or Enterprise plan, you can from our desktop site.
Upgrading to Standard activates paid features such as unlimited questions and unlimited filters. You can also access the full set of Standard features when you access SurveyMonkey on our desktop site.
To upgrade in the app:
You can only upgrade one account for your Apple ID. If you need to upgrade additional accounts, please do so on our desktop site.
If you've already purchased a Standard plan through the iOS app and would like to upgrade your account to a higher plan type, please contact support. Since in-app purchases are handled by iTunes billing rather than SurveyMonkey, our support team needs to help you upgrade your account.
You can no longer upgrade your account in-app for Android devices.
To make changes to your plan, you can upgrade your account on the desktop site. Once you upgrade, you can download the app in Google Play, and log in with your SurveyMonkey username and password.
SurveyMonkey is complying with applicable privacy regulations like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Our features can help you to comply when using SurveyMonkey.
SurveyMonkey account holders within or outside of the EU may be required to respond to requests from people who ask to exercise their privacy rights.

If you are an admin for a SurveyMonkey team plan you can use your mobile app to add and manage users on your team. SurveyMonkey team plans let you collaborate on surveys with other users.

The SurveyMonkey app offers some ability to change the look and feel of your survey. You can choose from a selection of pre-made color themes, and configure a few display options to show or hide certain elements of the survey, like the survey title or question numbers.
NOTE: You can't customize themes on the SurveyMonkey app. Please log into your account on our desktop site to customize the name, colors, and typography of your survey theme.

As you create your survey, keep in mind that many of your survey takers may take the survey on their phone or tablet. It's important to consider how the survey appears on a mobile screen, and how that can affect mobile completion rates.

With Kiosk Mode you can turn your device into a survey taking station. When Kiosk Mode is running, your survey runs in a loop, returning to the beginning of the survey each time a response is collected. In order to run a survey using Kiosk Mode, the survey needs to be set to Allow Multiple Responses.
To run a survey in kiosk mode:

You can send a web link collector to survey takers using the SurveyMonkey app or collect responses directly on your device.

If your survey takers are using a shared computer (e.g. in a computer lab), or if each of your survey takers needs to submit multiple surveys, tap the toggle next to Multiple responses per device to allow multiple responses per device.
Once the Kiosk Mode survey is completed, you can choose to either Return to Start to enter a new response, or Close Kiosk Mode to return to the app.

You can create a Shared Data link to share your results online.
To create a Shared Data link:
Log in to your account on www.surveymonkey.com to access more Shared Data settings.
When someone tries to access a disabled or deleted share link, they see a message that the shared data is unavailable.

You can tap the toggle again to reactivate the link at any time.

You can view a summary of your survey results or browse individual responses.

You can change the chart type shown for a question by tapping on it. If you have a Net Promoter Score question in your survey, your score is be presented on a gauge chart. You cannot change this chart type in the app.
Tapping on a question also lets you create a filter on your results. Paid customers can filter survey results for closed-ended questions. Mobile filters create a quick view of your data and cannot be saved. To use saved filters, login to your SurveyMonkey account on our desktop site.
To browse individual responses:
If you have Survey Alerts turned on, we send you push notifications and emails when you receive new responses. You can turn survey alerts off for individual surveys.
If you turn off push notifications for the SurveyMonkey app, you will no longer receive email alerts.

To stop collecting responses, you must close all collectors on the survey. If there are any open collectors on the survey, the overall survey status remains open.
To close a collector:
When survey takers try to access the survey through a closed collector, they see a closed survey message. If you need to edit or customize the closed survey message, you can login to your SurveyMonkey account on our desktop site.
TIP! To re-open the collector, tap the Closed status.
SurveyMonkey Contribute is no longer available in the SurveyMonkey app, but you can still access your account at contribute.surveymonkey.com.
