Discounts can save you money on your SurveyMonkey plan. Read the information below to learn if you're eligible and how to apply.

Student, Educator, and Nonprofit Discounts

We offer discounts to some nonprofits, students, and educators upgrading from a free plan—discounts can't be applied to existing paid accounts. All discounts are granted at SurveyMonkey’s sole discretion for one-year periods. SurveyMonkey may decline to renew a discount at its sole discretion.

The discounts we have available differ depending on the country you're located in.

United States and United Kingdom

Educators and Students
1. Log in to your account, if you have one. If not, no worries—just head to the next step.
2. Go to the Plans and Pricing page.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and review the reduced pricing options section.
4. Click the link about reduced pricing for students or educators.
5. Upgrade to the plan of your choice from the Reduced Pricing for Students and Educators page.
Why don't I see reduced pricing? If you don't see the reduced pricing options section for students or educators, it means you're not eligible because of your location or because you currently have an existing paid account.
Nonprofits and Charities
1. Go to the Plans and Pricing page and sign up for a free plan. You'll need to enter a SurveyMonkey username to complete the application process.
2. Review the nonprofit discount application to see if you're eligible. Discount details and requirements are outlined in the application.
3. Submit the discount application. Make sure to wait to upgrade your account until you hear back about your application since discounts are only available to customers with free plans.

Other Countries

Application Process and Available Discounts
1. Go to the Plans and Pricing page and sign up for a free plan. You'll need to enter a SurveyMonkey username to complete the application process.
2. Go to the relevant discount application below to see if you're eligible. Discount details and requirements are outlined in the applications.
3. Submit the discount application for an annual plan. Make sure to wait to upgrade your account until you hear back about your application since discounts are only available to customers with free plans.

Purchasing Multiple Accounts (Team Plans)

If you’re interested in purchasing 3 or more accounts, Team plans cost less per user than individual plans and come with additional collaboration features. You can see the discounted pricing on the Teams pricing page.

Promo codes are offered at SurveyMonkey’s sole discretion and may be changed or discontinued at any time.

SurveyMonkey occasionally offers promo codes that provide discounts when purchasing a subscription.

Only one promo code can be used per purchase, and promo codes can’t be combined with other discounts or offers. To use a different code, remove the one currently applied before completing checkout.

Promo code terms -including discount value, duration, eligibility criteria (plans, markets, and customer type), and any usage or time limitations- vary by promotion. If you cancel or downgrade your plan, the promo code won't automatically re-apply when you reactivate.

Redeem Promo Code

Go to Plans & Pricing and choose a plan type.
Enter an email address and password (the fields are case sensitive) and sign up.
Select a payment method and enter your billing details.
On the checkout page, enter your promo code in the Apply promo code field.
If valid, the discount will be applied immediately, and you’ll see it reflected in your order summary before completing your purchase.
Click subscribe and pay to complete your purchase.
The discount will appear on your invoice (including any refund invoice as a credit adjustment).
