SurveyMonkey's integration with Microsoft Teams lets you:
TIP! Based on your account’s response limits, you may need to upgrade your SurveyMonkey plan to view all your responses.
The first time you install the SurveyMonkey app in Microsoft Teams, you need to log in to your SurveyMonkey account to connect to Microsoft Teams. Your account will store any polls, surveys, quizzes, and responses created and collected in Microsoft Teams.
You can view results in the Analyze Results section of SurveyMonkey or a Microsoft Teams channel, chat, tab, or personal App.
The SurveyMonkey personal app is a private space for you to create, edit, or analyze results of all your polls or surveys.
To add SurveyMonkey as a personal app:
TIP! You can pin your SurveyMonkey personal app for easy access to your polls or surveys. Click ... on the left side panel, right-click on the SurveyMonkey icon, and select Pin. The SurveyMonkey personal app will appear on the left side panel.
To add SurveyMonkey as a messaging extension:
You can create a one-question survey and share it with your team in a channel, group chat, or private chat.
To create a poll:
Your team can respond to your poll in a channel, group chat, or private chat. You can also copy a link from your SurveyMonkey personal app and share your poll anywhere. Only one response is recorded per team member. If someone answers the poll again, the most recent answer is saved.
TIP! When you create a poll in Microsoft Teams, a weblink collector is generated and can’t be edited. Errors may occur if you make changes to the weblink.
Your poll results automatically display directly below your poll, so your entire team can view the results.
If you prefer not to display results, turn on Hide Results in your settings. Your survey notification will have a link to view hidden results in SurveyMonkey.
You can create a survey to get in-depth feedback from your team. Share your survey with others in a channel, group chat, or private chat.
To create a survey:
Your team can click Take survey from the SurveyMonkey card added to the Microsoft Teams channel or chat to take it without having to leave Microsoft Teams. You can also copy a link from your SurveyMonkey personal app and share your survey anywhere in Microsoft Teams.
TIP! When you create a survey in Microsoft Teams, a weblink collector is generated and can’t be edited. Errors may occur if you make changes to the weblink.
If you created the survey, go to Chat and click Check results in the SurveyMonkey card to view Question Summaries, Data Trends, and Individual Responses right in Microsoft Teams.
You can Edit your survey, and also Share the results to make them available in your team, group or private chat channel, or tab. When you share your results, you can choose to include Open-Ended responses, Data Trends, and Individual Responses.
You can create a quiz in either a Microsoft Teams channel, group chat, or private chat. Quizzes let you add scores to your survey questions and grade the responses.
To share a quiz with your team:
Your team can click Take quiz to take it without having to leave Microsoft Teams.
TIP! When you create a quiz in Microsoft Teams, a weblink collector is generated and can’t be edited. Errors may occur if you make changes to the weblink.
