Text Insights: Top Key Phrases
Find insights and trends in your open text answers by using our text analysis features in Workspaces. All of your open text answers are translated into English so you can easily analyze them in one place.
Top Key Words
Essentials feature: Available on Essentials, Pro, and Ultimate plans.
The top key words visualization shows you the most mentioned words in your responses and how many times the words were used. Select the + next to a word to view related words. In the example below, “cardio” and “love” were mentioned 307 times together.
You can filter your workspace to only show responses from people who used a specific key word. Select the bar next to a word to filter every tile in your workspace by responses that include that word.
The tile footer shows how many questions are represented in the visualization, how many total answers you received, and lets you filter by language if you collected responses in multiple languages. To view the questions used in your tile, select the arrow in the bottom right corner of the tile.
Top Key Phrases
Essentials feature: Available on Essentials, Pro, and Ultimate plans.
The key phrases visualization shows you the most mentioned key phrases from your responses and how many times the phrases were mentioned. Select + next to a phrase to view related phrases. In the example below, “love lifecycle” and “online versions” were used together 14 times.
The tile footer shows how many questions are represented in the visualization, how many total answers you received, and lets you filter by language if you collected responses in multiple languages. To view the questions used in your tile, select the arrow in the bottom right corner of the tile.
Creating Top Key Words and Top Key Phrases Tiles
You can't create Top Key Words or Top key Phrases titles for Email question types.
To create a top key words or top key phrases tile in your workspace:
- Create a new tile.
- In the Tile Type tab, select open text answers.
- Select Continue To Data.
- In the Data tab, choose which open text questions to add to the tile. The tile only shows responses from the questions you select.
- Select Continue To Visualization.
- Choose either top key phrases or top key words, then select the response languages to include in the tile.
- Select Create Tile.
Filtering a Workspace by Key Word or Phrase
You can filter your workspace to only show responses from people who used a specific key word or phrase.
In your tile, select the bar next to a word or phrase. Your workspace updates to only show feedback from people who used that word or phrase.
