Manage Your Team’s Surveys

If you’re a Primary Admin, you can view and manage surveys created by people on your team, including transferring surveys from one account to another, sharing surveys on behalf of others, and deleting outdated surveys.

Take a look at the surveys created by each person on your team and decide if you need to take action.

  1. Select Team Surveys from the admin dashboard navigation.
  2. Find the survey you’d like to review by scrolling the list of surveys or by searching the survey’s title in the search bar  
  3. To view the survey design, select the Preview Survey button.

By default, Team Surveys is only available to Primary Admins.

To enable Team Surveys for other admins, the primary admin will need to create or edit a custom admin role. Then, under Team and Account Management, locate Team Surveys and enable 'View and manage all surveys on the team' permissions.

If you need to transfer a survey from one account to another,  which can be helpful when someone leaves and a teammate needs to take over, you can manage this in Team Surveys. Most surveys, except those that accept payments or use a Kiosk collector in offline mode, can be transferred. 

To transfer a survey:

  1. View or search for the survey you want to transfer. 
  2. Select Transfer in the Actions column on the Team Surveys page
    or
    Click the Manage survey dropdown in a viewed survey and select Transfer survey.
  3. Enter the name, email, or address of the person you’d like to transfer to. (If your account has Power and Casual seats, the user must have a Power seat to become the new survey owner.)
  4. Select Transfer. The new survey owner will be notified and see the survey in their account.

Sharing surveys on behalf of someone on your team will allow you to choose additional people who can view and comment on their survey. 

If you share surveys with a workgroup, users may also be able to edit depending on their workgroup role. 

To share a survey: 

  1. From the Team Surveys page, choose a survey to share. 
  2. Select Share in the Actions column.
  3. In the modal that appears, type in the names or workgroups of those you’d like to share with. You can share with anyone on your plan, however, you may only add workgroups the survey owner is part of. 
  4. Review the people and workgroups you’ve selected and click Share to confirm. People will be notified by email that you’ve shared with them.

To get started, in Team Surveys, find surveys you’d like to delete. You can’t undo the action, so make sure everyone is comfortable with you deleting the survey(s) you’ve selected. 

To delete a survey: 

Review the number of surveys you’ve selected and click Delete to confirm.

Select one or multiple surveys to delete. 

Once you’ve selected the surveys to delete, click Delete in the Actions column.

You can share up to 40 surveys at a time.

In Team Surveys, locate the surveys you’d like to delete. You can’t undo the action, so make sure everyone is comfortable with you deleting the survey(s) you’ve selected. 

  • Select one or multiple surveys to delete.
  • Once you’ve selected the surveys to delete, click Delete in the Actions column.
  • Review the number of surveys you’ve selected and choose Delete to confirm.
