How to Delete a User from a Site

This article will outline how to delete a user completely from the site, cautions to removing a user and what happens after a user is deleted. Deleting a user is a permanent step and in most cases, we would recommend Deactivating Users instead.

To delete a single user from the site:

  1. Go to Manage Users.
  2. Go to the ALL tab.
  3. Locate the user in the list of users in your site.
  4. Hover your cursor over the user and click on the More Options icon in the far right column.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. You will be asked, "Are you sure you want to delete these users?"
  7. Click Yes.

If you wish to delete multiple users at one time:

  1. Go to Manage Users.
  2. Select the users you wish to delete from the site.
  3. Click Actions.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. You will be asked "Are you sure you want to delete these users?"
  6. Click Yes.
