If you are a reviewer within a site on SurveyMonkey Apply you can refer to some of our commonly asked questions in regards to certain aspects of the site.

In order to review an application, you will need to click Start or Continue on the Program and Stage that the applications are currently in. On your main page, you will be able to see how many reviews are available to be completed within each Program and Stage.

Once within the reviewer panel, you can use the Reviewer Split Screen to review the application.

The completion status of each review will be displayed within the reviewer panel next to the application. There are three statuses, each with a different icon, and the terminology used to access the Split View will vary:

 Status Access the Split Screen
 Not Started START
 In Progress CONTINUE
 Complete VIEW

You can see the total number of reviews completed on your reviewer homepage and at the top of your reviewer panel. 

Whether or not you can see the reviews of other reviewers will vary based on a configuration in place by the administrators of the site. If this has been enabled within the site, to see these Reviews:

  1. Access the Split Screen of the application
  2. Click on the Reviews tab

If the Reviews tab is not available it will mean that the administrator has not configured the site to allow you to view the other reviews. You will need to contact the administrators of the site for more information.

As a Reviewer, you can add and read application notes from the Reviewer Split Screen. These notes will be accessible to other reviewers assigned to the application and all administrators on the site.

To access Application Notes as a Reviewer:

  1. Click to StartContinue, or View the application in the Reviewer Split Screen
  2. On the application side of the screen (left side) select the Notes tab.

NOTE: As a Reviewer you cannot create notes that are private to yourself or to only administrators. All notes will be visible to administrators as well as to other assigned reviewers.

From this section you can add, edit or delete a note.

Add a Note

In order to add a note on the application that will be visible to all Administrators and Reviewers:

  1. Go to the Notes tab in the Reviewer Split Screen.
  2. Click Add Note
  3. Enter the note you wish to add in the Add a Note section
  4. Optional: Select Other Reviewers and/or Program Administrators in order to send an email notification when the note is added.

    Depending on the options(s) selected this will send an email to the administrators and/or the other reviewers assigned to the application to let them know their is a note available. They will be sent an email notifying them to login to the site to view the note within the site.
  5. Click Save

Edit a Note

Within the Reviewer Split Screen, you have the ability to Edit the notes that you have written about an application. In order to Edit a note:

  1. Go to the Notes tab in the Reviewer Split Screen.
  2. Underneath the note you wish to edit, click Edit.
  3. Make the necessary changes to the note
  4. Click Save Changes

Delete a Note

If a note is no longer applicable to the application, you can delete the note from the application. In order to Delete a note:

  1. Go to the Notes tab in the Reviewer Split Screen.
  2. Underneath the Note you wish to Delete, click to Delete the note.
  3. You will be asked "Are you sure that you want to delete this note?"
  4. Click Yes

If you wish to download the applications you are assigned to in order to view them offline, you can do this individually or in bulk.

Download an Individual Application

  1. Click Start or Continue to access the assignments for a specific Stage/Program
  2. Beside the application you wish to download, click the More Options icon
  3. Click Download Application
  4. Customize your Download
  5. Click Download

Download Applications in Bulk

  1. Click Start or Continue to access the assignments for a specific Stage/Program
  2. Select the applications you wish to Download
  3. Click Actions
  4. Download Applications
  5. Customize your Download
  6. Click Download
     

Download an Individual Review

  1. Click Start or Continue to access the assignments for a specific Stage/Program
  2. Beside the application you wish to download, click the More Options icon
  3. Click Download My Review
  4. Customize your Download
  5. Click Download

Download Reviews in Bulk

  1. Click Start or Continue to access the assignments for a specific Stage/Program
  2. Select the applications you wish to Download
  3. Click Actions
  4. Download My Reviews
  5. Customize your Download
  6. Click Download 

As a reviewer, your assignments will be separated first by the program the application applied to and then the specific stage the application is in. Therefore, if it is the case that you are set up to review multiple programs or stages in the site you will need to access each one in order to review those specific applications.

In order to switch between programs and stages you're reviewing:

  1. Click on Review Assignments to return to your Reviewer Homepage
  2. Click Start or Continue to access the assignments for a specific Stage/Program

In order to submit a review:

  1. Complete your review for the application.
  2. Click on the Submit button located at the bottom of the review form.

NOTE: Once you have submitted the review, what happens next will depend on the setup of the site by the administrators. Therefore, they may have an automation to move the application out of your reviewer panel once you submit the review. If you wish to request more information in regards to this you can contact the administrators of the site.

Within your reviewer panel, assignments are automatically filtered based on the program they have applied to and the stage in the program process that you are assigned to review. Once you click to Start or Continue your reviewer for a specific stage/program you can also filter the assignments further based on the completion status of the review.

You can choose between:

  • All Applications to Review
    or
  • Incomplete Reviews

You can also sort your applications by clicking on the Application column to sort the column alphabetically.

This is a process that can be enabled by administrators of the site, if you don't see this functionality, please contact the administrator.

If there is an application in your reviewer portal that is a conflict of interest for you:

  1. Hover over the application in your assignment list
  2. Click on the flag icon
  3. Optional: Enter a reason for the conflict
  4. Click OK

An email will automatically be sent to the administrators of the site to notify them of your conflict.
