Commenting on Surveys and Results

Inviting People to Comment |
When you invite someone to comment on your survey design, you're sharing your survey preview. When you invite someone to comment on your survey results, you’re sharing a shared data page. Survey Preview
Preview mode lets people test out the survey design and comment on questions. Survey responses aren't recorded in preview mode. If you're on a team, only the survey owner can invite people to comment by email. Even if you have full editing access to a shared survey, you can't invite others to comment by email. To invite someone to comment on your survey design by email:
You can also copy the URL from the address bar to share your preview with others. Anyone with the preview link can see comments, and anyone with the link who's also signed into a SurveyMonkey account can leave comments. TIP! If you're in a team, you can share surveys with others and give them full editing access to your survey.
Shared Data Page
When you invite someone to comment on your survey results, you’re sharing your results in a shared data page. To invite someone to comment on your surveys results by email:
When commenting is turned on, you can also copy and share the URL to your shared data page. Anyone with the link can see and leave comments on your survey results. If you'd like to restrict access, you can make your page Password Restricted or turn sharing off. You can create multiple shared data pages and share them intentionally. For example, create a page for getting feedback and another with comments restricted. |
Turning Commenting On or Off |
You can turn commenting on or off at any time. This either allows or restricts people from commenting, deleting, and resolving comments. If you're on a team, only survey owners can turn commenting on or off. If you have full editing access to a shared survey, you can't turn commenting on or off. Survey Preview
