SurveyMonkey

Update your survey title to let your respondents know what your survey’s about. You can format the title text, choose the title’s placement on the survey, and add a nickname to organize your surveys within SurveyMonkey.

Your survey title shows at the top of every survey page while taking the survey, unless you choose to hide the title.

Surveys created from scratch or not yet named display Untitled

To edit the survey title:

  1. Go to the Design Survey section.
  2. Within the survey preview, hover over the survey title and click Edit.

Give your survey an alternate name that only you or your team sees. Nicknames help you find surveys more easily, especially if you have multiple surveys using the same title.

Home organizes your surveys by nickname, not title. The nickname is visible at the top left of of the Design Survey, Collect Responses, and Analyze Results sections.

Your survey title consistently displays in the Design Survey preview, under the nickname, and to any respondents taking your survey.

If you prefer to not display a title on your survey, you can hide the title.

To hide the survey title from respondents:

  1. Go to the Design Survey section.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Click Survey title to toggle it off.

The changes reflect immediately in the live survey preview on the right side of the page.
