Conversation Survey Format

BETA FEATURE: The Conversation survey format is currently in beta and only available to some users.

The Conversation survey format displays your survey questions like a chat conversation in a messaging app.

Design Guidelines

To use the Conversation format, your survey needs to meet the following requirements:

  • Use a one-page survey
  • Use the default theme
  • Add less than 100 questions
  • Add questions with a maximum of 5 answer options
Unsupported Options

If your survey includes any unsupported options, you'll see an error message and won't be able to turn the Conversation format on.

Turning Conversation On

To turn the Conversation format on:

  1. Go to the Design Survey section of your survey.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Survey Format.

Survey Behavior

Before you send your survey, you can see what it will look like to survey-takers in the Preview & Score section.

Survey responses are recorded after each question is answered. If someone closes the survey before completing it, you'll be able to see any questions they answered and the response status will show as Incomplete or Partial in the Analyze Results section.
