Changing the Survey Title

You can change the title of your survey at any time. The survey title will appear at the top of each survey page as your respondents take the survey, unless you choose to hide the title.

To edit the survey title:

  1. Go to the Design Survey section of your survey.
  2. In the design, hover over the survey title and click Edit.
  3. Enter the new title in the Survey Title field. You can use the rich text editor to change the font color, or to bold, underline or italicize text.
  4. Configure additional options (see below for details).
  5. Click Save.

Alignment

You can left-align or center-align the survey title. There is no way to right-align the survey title.

To change the alignment of your survey title:

  1. Go the the Design Survey section of your survey.
  2. In the design, hover over the survey title and click Edit.
  3. Use the Alignment dropdown to select Left Aligned or Center Aligned.
  4. Click Save.

Nicknames

Select the Use a Nickname checkbox to give your survey an alternative name. Your respondents won't see survey nicknames, but they can help keep you organized—especially if you have multiple surveys with the same respondent-facing Survey Title.

Nicknames appear on the My Surveys page, and in the upper-left corner of the Design Survey, Collect Responses, and Analyze Results sections when you're working a survey.

Category

You can also select which category your survey's use case falls into so that we can suggest Question Bank questions that are more relevant to your project.

Hiding the Survey Title

To hide the survey title from respondents:

  1. Go to the Design Survey section of your survey.
  2. In the left sidebar, click OPTIONS.
  3. Click Survey Title to toggle the setting on and off.

The changes will be reflected immediately in the live survey preview on the right side of the page.

Edit your survey title from the Design Survey tab. The survey title appears at the top of each survey page, unless you choose to hide it.
