Automate with Quick Actions in Connect

Beta Feature: Connect is only available to some English customers in some countries, at this time.

The Connect Apps section of your survey is the place to connect your survey data to your business apps to automate data sharing, collaborate smarter, and save time. Automating with quick actions helps to improve information sharing, iterate on survey feedback, and save time.

Quick actions are simple automations that connect SurveyMonkey responses to popular business apps, like:

  • Post notifications to Slack or Microsoft Teams to share targeted data with the right people, as responses roll in. Posting to these apps can help surface new ideas, channel feedback, or escalate something so teams can take action faster.
  • Export responses to Excel to share in-the-moment data with your team, which you can merge with other key data for deeper insights.

When setting up quick actions, you can choose whether to act on all response data or target responses when a respondent selects a specific answer.

Targeting the response data helps you channel the right survey data to the right people, making your quick action more relevant, usable, and efficient.

You can find all apps with quick actions in Connect apps, along with some integrations. 

The lightweight quick actions let you easily automate useful tasks, like creating notifications for visibility, further analysis, or prompt follow-up action. Setting up quick actions could improve your team’s collaboration and amplify your impact, all within SurveyMonkey. 

Only some integrations are accessible from Connect apps, but all integrations are available in the SurveyMonkey App Directory. You may need to install these integrations outside of SurveyMonkey. There are 200+ pre-built integrations helping you connect with popular CRMs, marketing automation tools, and BI platforms.

From the Connect apps Discover tab, search or browse the quick actions or explore some integration offerings.

Select Manage to monitor or edit any quick actions you’ve already set up. 

Within the Connect apps space, you can manage and monitor all your actions, in one place. Selecting the green toggle will deactivate the action, but remain listed as a connected app that you can tap to re-activate. You can select the three dots menu (...) to edit a quick action’s set up, or Delete or Reauthenticate the app.

!If you want to manage an integration you previously installed, select the SurveyMonkey App Directory’s tile that’s specific to that integration.
