If you’re a consumer who has signed up for a new, paid SurveyMonkey subscription, and you're located in one of the countries listed below, you have a right to cancel your subscription within 14 calendar days. However, this policy does not apply if you’re using your SurveyMonkey subscription for your trade, business, craft, or profession. If you exercise this right, we will refund the subscription fees you have paid and your account will downgrade to the free plan.
You must exercise this right of cancellation by sending a written notice of cancellation in one of 3 ways: email us, write to us, or fill out our cancellation form.
You don’t need to provide a reason why you’re cancelling, but we’d be interested in hearing why so we can make improvements.
If you sent us notice within the applicable time frame, your subscription payment will be reimbursed within 14 days of sending the notice of cancellation and your account will downgrade to the free plan. If the time period has lapsed, you can still cancel auto-renewal on your account.
Contact us via email or contact SurveyMonkey Europe UC in writing at Ella House, Suite 40.4, 40 Merrion Square East, Dublin 2, Ireland, and provide the following details:
You can also exercise your right of cancellation by completing this cancellation form and submitting it to us in accordance with the instructions on that form.
The 14-day time period starts on the date you receive an email confirming your subscription is active. This cancellation policy applies to consumers who are located in the following countries:
If you reside in a country not listed above, or the time periods above have passed, please review this cancellation policy and instructions.
If you’re a Basic (free) user, you can terminate and delete your account at any time from the My Account page. Deleting your account results in the deactivation or disablement of your account and access to it, along with the deletion of your surveys and responses.
