SurveyMonkey

The daily summary is an email notification sent once a day to let you know how many survey responses you got the day before. For each survey with daily summary notifications turned on, you get a one-time email confirming your first response, and then a daily email summarizing how many new responses you received.

TIP! Check out the Notification Center to find your daily summary and first response messages from the last 30 days.

When your survey receives its first response, you get a one-time email letting you know. You should receive this email within 15 minutes of your first response.

After the first response email, you get one daily summary email on weekday mornings. It highlights all open surveys in your account and surveys shared with you. For each open survey that's collected new responses, you'll see the number of new responses since the last notification and how long the survey has been open.

  • You only receive a daily summary if new responses have been recorded.
  • We include responses that were collected between 12:00am and 11:59pm the previous day.
  • Emails are sent to the account email address, in the language and time zone selected on the My Account page.

TIP! Learn about other ways to get notified about survey responses.

When you share daily summary notifications with someone, the survey will be shared with them automatically with the following access levels:

  • View Only permissions for survey design
  • No access to collect responses
  • View Only permissions for analyze results

If you're part of a team, you can edit sharing permissions on surveys you own. The person you shared the survey with must have at least view only access to Analyze Results in order to receive daily summary notifications for that survey.

  • Removing someone from shared notifications

When someone shares daily summary notifications with you, you'll get an email letting you know. Your account email address needs to match the one the notification was sent to.

To view the responses and continue to get notifications, you must log in or sign up for a SurveyMonkey account and click View survey in the first notification email. This will put a View Only shared survey in your account so you can see the responses. You won’t start getting daily summary emails until you confirm by clicking View survey in the first email while you’re logged in.
