You can change the title of your survey at any time. The survey title will appear at the top of each survey page as your respondents take the survey, unless you choose to hide the title.

To edit the survey title:

  1. Go to the Design Survey section of your survey.
  2. In the design, hover over the survey title and click Edit.
  3. Enter the new title in the Survey Title field. You can use the rich text editor to change the font color, or to bold, underline or italicize text.
  4. Configure additional options (see below for details).
  5. Click Save.

Select the Use a Nickname checkbox to give your survey an alternative name. Your respondents won't see survey nicknames, but they can help keep you organized—especially if you have multiple surveys with the same respondent-facing Survey Title.

Nicknames appear on the My Surveys page or new Homepage (beta), and in the upper-left corner of the Design Survey, Collect Responses, and Analyze Results sections when you're working a survey.

You can also select which category your survey's use case falls into so that we can suggest Question Bank questions that are more relevant to your project.

To hide the survey title from respondents:

  1. Go to the Design Survey section of your survey.
  2. In the left sidebar, click OPTIONS.
  3. Click Survey Title to toggle the setting on and off.

The changes will be reflected immediately in the live survey preview on the right side of the page.
