Export survey results to analyze and share data with others.

Create exports for your workspace data. Workspaces let you compare results for web, app, and email surveys in one place. You can export a workspace to an XLSX or CSV file and schedule recurring exports.

To create exports in a workspace:

  1. In a workspace, select the download button in the top right corner.
  2. Select New Export.
  3. Enter a File name, then select a File format.
  4. (optional) Toggle on to Merge questions with the same identifier. This option allows you to merge the responses of questions with the same value in one column. For example, if your workspace contains 3 forms that have a 'Comment' field with the value 'How_can_we_improve', you can consolidate the responses into one column.
  5. Select Create. You’ll get a confirmation message about your export.
  6. When your export is ready, select Exports again and download your file.

A workspace can only have 1 scheduled export.

Schedule a weekly export of your workspace data. You can choose the day and time for the weekly export. You can also have the export sent to a certain email address.

To schedule an export:

  1. In a workspace, select the download button in the top right corner.
  2. Select New Export.
  3. Enter a File name, then select a File format.
  4. (optional) Toggle on to Merge questions with the same identifier. This option allows you to merge the responses of questions with the same value in one column. For example, if your workspace contains 3 forms that have a 'Comment' field with the value 'How_can_we_improve', you can consolidate the responses into one column.
  5. Select the day and time for the export.
  6. To get an email notification with your export, check the box to Send email notification. Then, enter the email addresses to send to, separated by a comma.
  7. Select Schedule.
  8. When your export is ready, select Exports in your workspace, then download the file. If you set up email notifications, you'll get the export at the email address you entered.

Export all responses from your web feedback button, or export only some items by applying filters. You can open exports in a program such as Excel to analyze feedback further or combine it with other data sets.

You can either export the file immediately or schedule automatic exports.

To export web survey responses immediately:

  1. In app.usabilla.com, select Feedback under Buttons & Forms.
  2. If you want to export specific feedback only, apply filters using the left panel.
  3. Otherwise, select Export in the top right corner.
  4. Select Export Now to download responses in a .csv file.

To set up automatic exports:

  1. In app.usabilla.com, under the Buttons & Forms section, select Feedback.
  2. In the top right of the screen, select Export > Automatic Export.
  3. Turn on the toggles to the locations to send your export to. Enter any required information to set up your email, FTP server, or AWS s3 bucket exports.
  4. Select the export frequency.
  5. Select Save to turn on automatic exports.

Export campaign results as a .csv file, or export a PDF of your charts to share with others. You can include charts for all questions in your export.

You can only export campaign results using Chrome or Firefox.

To export campaign results:

  1. In app.usabilla.com, select Overview from the left side menu.
  2. Select Results on the campaign you want to view.
  3. In the top right corner, select Export.
  4. Select either Export csv or Export Charts to download the export. If you export charts, you’ll get a PDF of the results charts.

Export responses from your email surveys as an Excel (.xlsx) or .csv file. The export shows response dates in UTC time zone.

To export email survey responses:

  1. In app.getfeedback.com, go to your survey and select Results > Responses.
  2. Go to the Live Survey tab.
  3. Select Export Responses in the top right corner.
  4. Select the Format from the dropdown list, either Excel (XLSX) or CSV.
  5. Select a Date Range to export feedback from.
  6. To export incomplete responses, turn on the toggle to Include incomplete responses.
  7. To email the export to your account’s email address, turn on the toggle to Send Email when finished.
  8. When you’re ready, select Start Export. When the export is ready, you can select the link to download the file. If you chose to Send Email when finished, you’ll get an email with a download link when your export is ready.

To include incomplete responses in your export:

  1. In app.getfeedback.com, go to your survey and select Results > Responses.
  2. Go to the Live Survey tab.
  3. Select Export Responses in the top right corner.
  4. Turn on the toggle to Include incomplete responses.
  5. Finish setting up your export, then select Start Export.
