Engage: Data Exports

SURVEYMONKEY ENGAGE:SurveyMonkey Engage is another SurveyMonkey product that helps improve employee engagement across your organization. If you're interested in learning more, contact sales.

Engage has built-in analytics to help you slice-and-dice your survey data in a number of ways. What if you want to take your analysis even deeper? With Data Exports, you can download your organization’s response data, all while maintaining employee anonymity!

From your Analyze Surveys tab, you can download all survey response data for your team organized by survey. For instance, if you want to better understand your team’s responses for the most recent Core Survey, you can select Core Survey in the dropdown menu then press the “Download Survey Data” in the upper right hand corner of your screen.

Engage navigation with arrows pointing to "surveys" tab, "Core Survey", and "download survey data" button.

If you’d like to dig deeper, you can select filters to dive into your organization’s data. These filters will be reflected in the data download. Select the relevant filters for you then click the button in the top right corner of the page. Your new CSV will reflect the filters you selected in Engage. As always, this data is completely anonymous and abides by the anonymity threshold.

Surveys tab is open showing "Core Survey" and a left-hand filter column. Arrow is pointing to 2 selected filters for age and tenure.

See below for an example of a Data Export both with and without filters. You’ll notice the CSV example with filters selected enables users to cut their survey data by many fields - Core vs. Check-in Survey, Core Factors, Sub Factors, Questions, and all filters their company has uploaded.

This image highlights an example of when an Engage user exported data without any filters selected. The individual has access to all survey response data from their organization. This data provides a high-level view of areas of strength, opportunity, and information to analyze and share with stakeholders.

In the image below, the Engage user has selected two departments (Operations and Sales) and two employee tenures (2-5 years and 5-10 years). With these filters selected, the user can see the average score for each question and the number of responses. Filtered data enables more directed analysis of teams, location, or whatever filters your organization has uploaded to Engage. This data enables team vs. team comparisons, deeper discussions around an organization’s growth areas, and trend analysis.
