If you're a Primary Admin or Admin of an Enterprise team, the Admin Dashboard gives you more visibility into your team's activity.
- View usage metrics like the number of surveys each user has in their account, and the date of their last login.
- Preview the surveys in each account to better understand how people in your team are using SurveyMonkey.
To get to the Admin Dashboard:
- Click your username in the upper-right corner of your account.
- Click My Team.
- Click Admin Dashboard.
The User Table lists all the users in your team, and the following usage metrics about each account:
|Email||The email address associated with the user's account.|
|Username||The username of the account.|
|First Name||The first name of the user, from their My Account page.|
|Last Name||The last name of the user, from their My Account page.|
|Surveys||The number of surveys in the user's account that were created within the last 365 days. This number includes surveys created by other people in the team and shared with this user.|
|Responses||The number of responses the user's account has collected within the last 365 days.|
|Modified||The modified date of the most recently modified survey on the account.|
|Login||The most recent date the user logged into the account.|
|Collaboration||A checkmark in this column indicates that there are shared surveys in this user's account.|
|Role||The user's role in the team. See: Roles & Permissions|
|Department||The user's department, as defined in your company's Identity Provider (only available in teams with SSO enabled).|
|Cost Center||The cost center associated with the user, as defined in your company's Identity Provider (only available in teams with SSO enabled)|
Filtering the User Table
You can use filters to narrow down your user list based on some of the data in the table. The following filters are available:
|Role||Filter by the user's role in the team.|
|Collaboration||Filter by whether there are shared surveys in this user's account.|
|Responses||Enter a numerical range to filter by how many responses the user has in their account.|
|Surveys||Enter a numerical range to filter by how many surveys the user has in their account. This includes shared surveys.|
Searching the User Table
You can use the search bar in the upper-right corner of the User List to quickly find a specific person. The search bar will search the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
Exporting the User Table
To export the User List as a CSV, click Export All (.CSV) in the upper-right corner of the Admin Dashboard.
At this time there's no way to export an individual user's survey list.
Timestamps are shown in ISO 8601 format, which looks like this: 2016-02-17T21:37:40.643Z
- The first portion is the date in YYYY-MM-DD format.
- The second portion (introduced by the letter T) is the time in 24-hour notation (HH:mm:ss.sss).
- The letter Z at the end of the timestamp stands for the "Zulu" time zone, which is the same as UTC.
Viewing the Surveys in an Account
You can view a table of all the surveys in an individual user's account, and preview the survey designs directly from the Admin Dashboard.
The Admin Dashboard does not include access to survey results. To view the responses of a survey, ask the survey owner to share the survey with you or create a shared data page.
To view a list of surveys in a specific account:
- Go to the Admin Dashboard.
- Click the number in the Surveys column next to the user whose surveys you'd like to see.
The table includes the following information about each survey in a user's account:
|Title||The survey title (nicknames don't show here).|
|For shared surveys, we specify if the user is the survey owner or if another user in the team shared the survey with them.|
|The date the survey was created.|
|Modified||The date the survey was last modified.|
|Questions||The number of questions in the survey.|
|Responses||The number of responses the survey has collected.|
|Language||The survey language.|
|Category||The category the user selected when they created the survey.|
Preview a Survey Click any survey title to preview the entire survey—responses won't be recorded.
Searching the Survey Table
When you're viewing an individual user's survey list, you can use the search bar in the upper-right corner of the table to quickly find a specific survey in their account. The search bar will search the Survey Title only—not the contents of the survey.
