Adding a Thank You Page

Add a Thank You page at the end of your survey to confirm the survey is complete and to thank respondents for taking your survey. You can use HTML formatting to customize the message.

Thank You pages are available on professional plans.

Web Link Collector

To add a Thank You page:

  1. Go to the Collect Responses section of your survey.
  2. Click the name of your Web Link Collector.
  3. Click Show advanced options.
  4. Click Thank You Page and customize the message.
  5. Confirm the switch is set to On.

Other Collector Types

To add a Thank You page:

  1. Go to the Collect Responses section of your survey.
  2. Click the name of the Collector.
  3. Click Change Settings from the grey menu on the left.
  4. Under Display a Thank You Page, select Yes.
  5. Customize the message.
  6. Click Save Settings at the top right of the page.
TIP! If you're using more than one collector to distribute your survey, you need to set up a Thank You page for each collector.

When you preview your survey, you won't see the Thank You page since no responses are actually being recorded in the preview mode.

If a respondent sees a Thank You page, it means they successfully completed your survey—they don't need to click the Done button on the Thank You page to submit their responses. The Done button on the Thank You page directs respondents to the Survey Completion option that you configured on the collector. 

If respondents are taken directly to the Thank You page when clicking your survey link, this is because they have already submitted a response. You can change your settings to allow respondents to edit responses or allow multiple responses per computer.
